Brief Biography

 

Born at Urubamba city, Cusco, Peru, on the 14th of September 1931. Made his elementary studies at his township. Secondary and university studies in Cusco and Argentina; in this last one, carried out studies in Agronomy at La Plata University.  Later on, continue his studies at the Monastic University of Moravia. 

 

He was General Manager of Panamericana Television at Cusco, Peru during 16 years.  Parallel, he carried out the position of Town Councilor at Cusco Mayor's Office.

 

In 1984 he fully launch himself in his philanthropic task at Samana Wasi (House of rest) center, giving up all his professional and political commitments, and together with his wife Regia, made of Samana Wasi, a home, a real family for abandoned children.

 

He is writer and international lecturer;  metaphysical and psychophysical therapist.

 

Some of his books, have been translated into 6 languages, and in between them:

  •       “The Wisdom of the Ancient One”

  •       “In Search of the Ancient One”

  •       “The Ancient One at the Sacred Lake”

  •       “Drawing the Veil of the Visible Darkness”

He is also founder of:

  •       Solar Brotherhood of the Intic Churincuna

  •       International Institution Peace trough Culture

  •       Cultural institutions of study and investigation, such as IPRI at Cusco and IPIK.

At the "Universal Concord World Congress" in 1993 at New Delhi, India, he was the only  representative for the American continent invited.

 

He performs conferences and lectures at International events in America, Europe and Asia, about Indianism, Andean Cosmovision and Spirituality.

 

At present Anton keeps writing, and fully committed to the integral recovery of abandoned children and elder people in Samana Wasi, as well as head of the Solar Brotherhood of the Intic Churincuna.

Anton in search of the Life

 

Anton, an spiritualistic person, moved by a profound believe in Andean Cosmovision, skilled in life philosophy, decided adoption of abandoned children when he understood his mission in life, taught by an ancient Quechua man. Anton remembers the moment in which this wise ancient told him:

 

"Without service there is not Growth,

and it has to be unconditional,

because in Love, there is not expected retribution".

 

The ancient one, told him about the wisdom of love and hint at him that his mission could be to adopt abandoned children in Cusco, and...

the beginning and the Force of Love

At the beginning, doubts crossed his mind, fear to the change grab him; but an invisible power drive him ahead.

 

Then he started to build Samana Wasi with his own resources, throwing himself fully in this philanthropic task, with the help of his wife Regia.

 

He left his commercial assignments and his life gave a hundred and eighty degrees turn. Al things is his surroundings at that time, dizzily changed. Looked like he was making a mistake, but everything would be the beginning of a new life, the real meaning of his life.

 

With little economical resources, he was tempted by solitude and defeat;  but Anton had a mission: his love for children gave him such a force that he was able to overcome polishing of life.

a new stage starts - the training

 

His first book started to be sold overseas.  Different Argentinean editors bought the editing rights, and Anton dealt directly with the necessary contracts.

 

He obtained enough financial resources to carry on his mission at Urubamba. Later on, his books were translated into different languages and invitations for lectures in countries with good book sales, start arriving.

 

So, Anton discovered he had new friends that encouraged him to continue his task.

the Mission starts getting consolidation

 

Today the almost 30 children live in comfortable and clean little houses, where they have all essential and necessary. There is order and you can breath home warmness, where children live happily.

 

There are small workshops of music, sports, handcrafts and carpentry. There are voluntaries coming from different parts of the world to share the Work of Anton. Children in groups, are around tutors that administrate their daily activities. Regia supervise equally to everybody. She is the mother of all children.

 

In this Work of Love, which is a way of life based in Andean philosophy, the "sons" of Anton and all the logistic personnel from Samana Wasi, live from the incomings due to author rights from the books he writes, as well as from the conferences and lectures he gives about Andean Cosmovision around the world. 

Some contributions arrive in an isolated fashion.

At the moment there are more than 40 people at Samana Wasi.  Samana Wasi is financially sustained with the incomings from sales of Anton's books, and with the result of lectures performed in many countries (Argentina, Germany, Italy, Peru, Spain, Switzerland, United States, and others), where he lectures about human values and the Andean spiritual culture. Money donations, arrive from time to time. 

 

As time pass, children grow becoming younger; their needs grow too, such as in health, study and training to become self-sufficient.

Samana Wasi needs you!!!

 

We are convinced that life is mainly a mutual support.  Therefore and in spite of economical and infrastructure limitations, at Samana Wasi this concept is placed under practice. 

 

This means that at Samana Wasi, children receive all attention for their physical, psychological and spiritual development.  They go to school, practice sports and their spiritual education is under Anton's and Regia's responsibility. 

 

The social assistance given to children and elder ones at Samana Wasi, have to be transmitted to the world. Every one wanting to assist, is welcome.  Here you will discover how much you can help to one's fellow man, and how lived satisfaction contributes to ones growth.

 

Here there are human beings only.  There is not place for any kind of racial, religious or political discrimination.
